WonderWorks Museum in Pigeon Forge
August 27, 2013

Have you ever noticed the upside down building in Pigeon Forge? According to legend, this mystical building was once a top secret research laboratory on an island in the Bermuda Triangle. Profesor Wonder and his team of world renowned scientists created a man made tornado that lifted their lab right off the ground and transplanted it in East Tennessee. Today, their laboratory is known as WonderWorks, and it is one of most popular family attractions in the Smokies. Located minutes away from our condos in Pigeon Forge, WonderWorks offers over 100 interactive exhibits for all ages.

Which Way Is Up?

When visitors first enter WonderWorks they will notice that everything is upside down. In order to get right side up, guests must enter the Inversion Tunnel, which realigns and inverts your orientation. Once you are facing the right direction, you will be ready to enjoy all of the awesome exhibits and experiments in the museum. These attractions include an indoor rock-climbing wall, a virtual roller coaster, a giant lite brite board and many more.

Ropes Challenge Course

One of the highlights of WonderWorks is the World’s Largest Indoor Ropes Course. Included in the price of general admission, this special exhibit stands at over 50 feet tall. Those brave enough to hit the ropes will climb four stories as they overcome over 50 different obstacles and activities, such as a tremor bridge, lily pads, and swinging steps.
