The development team of Cherokee Lodge consists of DavidOgle, Jim Ogle, Amy McCown, and David Henry doing business as H2O Sevier, LLC.The Ogles own one of Sevier County's oldest and most respected development firms. This pioneer tourism family is the area's leading landowner and their developments are among the finest in the region. They have been involved in the development of Five Oaks Factory Stores (now Tanger Five Oaks), Bearskin Lodge in Gatlinburg, Marriott licensed hotels in Sevier County, various retail developments in downtown Gatlinburg, Riverplace (Belk, Outback) in Sevierville, and a host of other retail, restaurant, and amusement properties. David Ogle is a licensed contractor and real estate broker and has built projects totaling over $100 million in the past 15 years. He is a past Chairman of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. Jim Ogle is managing partner of ILM Rentals, L. P., Gatlinburg's largest landowner and developer. Amy McCown, also a member of the Ogle family, is general manager of Cherokee Lodge, and brings over 15 years of condominium management experience from Gatlinburg's most successful condominium development. David Henry has spent over 20 years in sales and executive management in the beverage industry and brings a wealth of experience and stability to the development team. David is a direct descendant of the Butler family, one of Pigeon Forge's first families. The Butler family originally owned the largest portion of what is now Pigeon Forge. The site of Cherokee Lodge is part of the original Butler estate.
